The Founder, Anna Bezzola, was born in Italy and has hiked in the Alps since childhood, exploring their cultural and natural environments. She lived for several years in California, where she studied theatre lighting and worked at Mountain Travel Sobek. Anna is multi-lingual, she loves to explore new places, to hike, and to still guide as much as she can. Her travels have taken her to Patagonia, Alaska, Bhutan, the Arctic and the Antarctic. She currently lives in Switzerland, where she runs Alps and Beyond with the wealth of knowledge gained working with a leading adventure travel company.

Our Collaborators are independent professionals, with an invaluable expertise, who have worked in the travel business for years and who share our same passion and enthusiasm.

Our Guides are extraordinary people and lead interesting personal lives. They are local, have years of guiding experience, and an in-depth knowledge of mountain hiking and safety procedures; they have an intimate understanding of the history and culture of the area; they are professional, multi-lingual, friendly, enthusiastic and passionate, and will not miss any opportunity to interact with the local people, providing a memorable, full-immersion experience.
