TERMS & CONDITIONS
Our tours take place in Italy and Switzerland. Prices are quoted accordingly, in Euros and Swiss Francs, per person and based on sharing double accommodations at hotels.
The price listed under each trip is based on a group of at least 6-8 participants. Smaller groups will incur in a higher cost.
The cost of the tour includes all services such as expert local guides, accommodations, most lunches and dinners, water and coffee with group meals at restaurants, public and/or private transportation, visits to museums and other points of interest, miscellaneous activities.
Wine tasting is included on tours with that specific focus. Out of consideration for participants who may not drink alcohol, we do not include wine with meals in our classic programs.
Airport transfers at the beginning of the tour are generally included in most of our programs in Italy and Switzerland. In Italy, we use private vehicles, while in Switzerland, where public transportation is very efficient, we use the railway system. Most transfers back to the airport at the end of the tour are not included. This is done on purpose, as participants generally head out in different directions. These are general rules, and they may change for private and/or custom tours.
The price of our tours in Switzerland includes search/rescue and evacuation insurance. No insurance is included in the cost of our tours in Italy.
Inclusions and exclusions vary for each trip. For detailed information, please refer to the detailed itinerary of each specific tour.
Please note that prices are subject to availibility of accommodations and services.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS
We accept payments by PayPal and by wire transfer. Participants are responsible for all wire transfer fees.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total cost of the trip is required to sign up for any of our classic programs. Final payment is due 60 days before your trip begins. All payments must be made in local currency and by wire transfer. Sender is responsible for all wire-transfer fees.
If we receive cancellation notice between 60 and 45 days prior to the beginning of the trip, the cancellation fee will be equal to 50% of the price of the trip.
If we receive cancellation notice 44 days or less prior to the beginning of the trip, the cancellation fee will be equal to 100% of the cost of the trip.
Custom & Private Tours
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost of the trip is required to sign up for any of our classic programs. Final payment is due 90 days before your trip begins. All payments must be made in local currency and by wire transfer. Sender is responsible for all wire-transfer fees.
If we receive cancellation notice between 90 and 60 days prior to the beginning of the trip, the cancellation fee will be equal to 50% of the price of the trip.
If we receive cancellation notice 59 days or less prior to the beginning of the trip, the cancellation fee will be equal to 100% of the cost of the trip.
All cancellation notices must be received in writing.
Please note that payment schedules for any of our tours may vary, based on specific requirements of hotels and other services.
Once we receive the non-refundable deposit for one of our tours, the participant agrees to be bound by all our terms and conditions listed above and in our Participant Information & Liability Release document. Please contact us if you would like to have a copy sent to you.
TRIP ITINERARY & DOCUMENTATION
We always try to adhere to the trip itinerary. However, please keep in mind that weather and natural conditions in general, or causes of force majeure, play a big role when it comes to safety on a trip. Your guide has the right and responsibility to make changes to any of the days on the itinerary, if necessary. Additionally, last minute changes in logistical details, such as hotels or restaurants, at times are out of our control. Should any such changes occur, we will inform you as promptly as possible.
Once we receive the non-refundable deposit, we will send you the following documentation:
Essential Pre-trip information. It will include all necessary information to prepare properly for the trip.
Equipment list. A detailed list of specific equipment and items required for your trip.
Participants Information and Release of Liability form.

We do not sell, rent, or lease our clients’ lists to third parties. The personal information we collect is utilized only to provide the services you request.
Italian and Swiss laws require that hotels obtain traveler’s personal information, and our guides in the field must have your personal and medical information readily available.
